Domestic eel cut into inro slices and finished with our "secret sauce" that has been used for more than 100 years.

Eel Jinden" has been satisfying the palates of Osakans in Osaka, the nation's kitchen. This product is packed with the secret taste and technique. The tender, fatty Japanese eel is cut into inro slices and the center bone is carefully removed.
The meat is then carefully grilled over a charcoal fire and finished with the "secret sauce" that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 100 years.

Inro-kiri" is an eel cut into cylindrical pieces. Inro-kiri" is a type of "inro" that resembles the shape of an inro, which was used as a container for medicines in the olden days. The name "inro-kiri" comes from its resemblance to the shape of an inro, which was carried as a container for medicine in the old days.
It is said that the name "kabayaki" (broiled eel) spread because the eel looked like an "ear of kama" (a kind of bamboo shoot). In other words, the "Inro-kiri" eel is the original kabayaki! So, the "inro-kiri" eel is the original kabayaki!
The eels in the Hyakunen Eel series are cut into Inro slices, then the middle bone is removed, and the eel is seared and broiled white.
